Default PSPEC Shifter info...

On their website the PSPEC short shifters are not offered in 94-97 accords, but they do offer 98-2002 accord shifters, as well as 97-01 prelude ones. Im going to assume the civic ones wont fit, but can I use the 98-02 accord short shifters? or even the prelude one? i kinda thought the accord one would work but im not sure, and they cost 200 dollars so id liek to be sure. I want one of these, and i have heard its a good brand. i just hope one will fit in my car

To my knowledge the later Accord and Prelude will not work.

I believe the earlier Prelude (92-96) shifter will work with slight modification

the 92-96 prelude shifter is a bolt-in, you just need a single bolt and sleeve because the accord shifter has that built in while the prelude version is separated.

If you want a slightly shorter shifter you can use a stock 92-96 prelude shifter but its not a huge difference.

You need the 'shifter box' and cables from a 97+ Prelude to make it fit in the Accord.

pspec shifters are really nice have one on my 99 accord. makes quite a difference to me. alot of people say if u have trouble getting into gears the pspec shifter gets rid of those problems. sometimes i would have trouble getting into reverse but with the pspec reverse is alot easier now.
