Did anyone ever get any tuning done by JD Racing up in New Brunswick Canada? I was thinking about making the trip when it comes time to get my turbo gsr tuned but I have heard some mixed opinions.

Anyone have any info?

by the way, I am in Maine, does anyone know any reputable tuners in the area?

 

Best way to develop your own opinion is to call the person and ask them some intelligent questions and see how they answer them. The best way to avoid going to a "bad" shop (tuner or otherwise) is to arm yourself with KNOWLEDGE, not the opinions of internet nut sack riders.

Personally, I know JD as a customer of mine...I can only assume about his ability to tune cars by reading his posts and seeing his graphs on the eCtune forums

there are tons of guys on a region forum www.lowmotion.org that can tell you about their experiences with JD...

most of the honda guys in the maritime provinces get their tuning done by JD... He knows Hondas really well... You can get ahold of him through that website I posted... He's pretty good about answering questions (English isn't his first language, but you can understand what he is saying..)

I'm planning to get him to do my tuning, unless I can learn how to do my own before then...

Ive had my car tuned multiple times by Danny @ JD racing. Hes good and knows his stuff. He tunes all the high HP cars around here.

He's very concervative with his tuning. He will make sure that its done right though and will street tune the car afterwards. Just make sure everything is up to par before you plan on traveling to him.

His english isnt the best, but hes a great guy in person. Sometimes talking on the phone can be difficult if you arent used to him but he will always answer your questions.

 

Yes, I had a car tuned by danny as well. Real good guy. Car ran good.
I will be taking another one to him in the spring.
