jdm ef9 front end vs USDM front end ????
Alright you guys, this topic has been discussed thousands of times, but I have some questions about it. please answer as many as you can:
1.Are the jdm sir ef9 hatch fenders exactly the same size and design as the usdm fenders, despite having the holes for sidemarkers?
2. Are the 90-91 jdm sir ef9 hatch corner lights the same size as the usdm 90-91 corner lights?
Please be specific with the differences in these two questions. just to give you a reason on why i am asking is b/c i have an 88 dx hatch with usdm hood, usdm buper, but im using the 90-91 all plastic jdm ZC headlights, 90-91 USDM corner lights, and jdm fenders. I bought fenders and headlights from password jdm. And the problem i am having is that the headlights dont sit flush with hood, they extend a little further out than the hood(not a big deal) but i dont know if that is what is causing my corner lights not to cover the whole corner light notch on the fender. there is space between where the fender notch begins and where the corner light starts. IDK if its because when i bolted fenders, i didnt do a great job aligning the fenders and making sure they were position right, or if its b/c fenders aren't designed to house usdm corner (meaning jdm corners are longer light jdm headlights are longer) or if its because the ZC headlights are a little wider (from front to back). I will post up pics of my problem when its daylight , but can i get your feedback on my questions please? Thank you

I believe that the difference in the fenders is simply the moldings and holes as you mentioned. Corner lights should be the same.
Anyone correct me if I'm wrong

search is your friend.
1. Yes, they are the same fit wise. They will fit on a usdm hatch no prob.
2. Yes, same size but the jdm corners are either all amber or all clear. The usdm are half amber half clear. Colors are different. but if you mix a usdm corner/headlight with a jdm front end fitment can be a problem.
are you piecing together your front end? id suggest you get every part and not keep some usdm some jdm. just my 2cents.
