Default Anybody ever buy a crimestopper alarm?

I am looking for a cheap alarm that just turns on the siren if the doors are opened or if a window is broken. I don't need any fancy features like starter kill or keyless entry since my CRX has power nothing. I just need basic protection. What do you think of the Crimestopper on this crutchfield page:

The prestige platinum series can be had for about the same price, come with more features even though you have indicated you cannot use/do not care for them.

But mainly, code hopping, dual stage shock sensor ; single stage is annoying as hell...basically dual stage allows for a shock chirp, and an impact full blast siren. Its very nice.

I have personally used this unit before and feature for feature its great, especially if you throw it on another car later.

btw. that clifford unit is fine, but its overpriced imho.

I don't have any personal experience w/ Crimestopper but my friend has one on his Mustang GT and he seems to like it/it seems to work well enough... he's had the car for several years and hasn't had any problems w/ it.. if installed properly/well you shouldn't have any problems w/ it... and it works decent... his shock sensor seems to be fairly sensitive but not sure if thats how he wanted it set or thats just how the sensor is...
