Chime sound has stopped, what was it?
I have an Accord that I was working on for a few years in the garage. For a few years now I always heard this chime sound for 6 times when I turned the key to the II position. I always let it chime away before starting the car. Never knew what it was for. I recently got the work finished and was able to use the vehicle. Now when I turn the key to the II position I no longer hear that chime. Anyone know what was that chime for, or why did it go away? Dont make any sense, Cant think of anything I did that would have caused it or stopped it.
The chime tells says you're starting the car without wearing your seat belt. If you start the car with you seat belt on, it won't chime. Almost all cars do it. Does the seat belt light on the dash board light up?

Yep, your right, I did eventually see that in the owners manual. Yes and no as to the light. It was there and then it wasnt. I dont recall if I was wearing the seatbelt or not, but the chime sound has returned. So, at this point, it is an intermittent issue, although not much of a problem either way. Some electrical connection must be loose. Anything most likely for 94-97 Accord genre?
