crazy idle
hi all.
i have problem with JDM F22B DOHC, in Accord CD3 (similar CD5)
When the engine will get warm, idle running starts to grow slowly, approximately on 50 rpm and is sharply dumped approximately to 700 rpm.
Grows approximately for 15 seconds.
If I press on gas turns exactly to keep.
ps: i replace: spark plugs, wires, cap, oil, disable and enable IAC, tps is 0.49
WHERE PROBLEM???

If there is a leak in your catch can/PCV system, or it is vented directly to the outside air. This can cause a fluctuating idle as well. The oil catch can system needs to be a closed system if you are using the manifold PVC vacuum port. After you installed the oil catch can did you reset your ECU?

Yes, It could also be a deteriorating gasket or cracked vacuum hose as well. It could also be contributed to a low coolant level or bad IACV or FITV.
If you want to check your intake manifold and throttle body gaskets there is a trick you can do. With your car running, Use a spray can of throttle body or carb cleaner and carefully spray it around every gasket and hose connection. If you hear a drop, or change, in the idle rpm. That would indicate a leak in the gasket, or hose, where you just sprayed the cleaner.
