Front lip Repair
I own a 2001 Civic EX
OEM lip kit (not 100% sure)
Ok this is what happened I pulled into to the parking lot and obviously didnt hit the brakes soon enough. I hit my front lip on the parking blocks at the end of my parking space. It didnt sound like anything was broken, but when i inspected the damage i saw that my front lip was broken. It snapped off almost immediately after the passenger side front wheel. There is about a 3 in piece still attached very loosely to the bumper. The rest of the lip is connected via the other 3 evenly spaced connections (screws). I purchased my car like this and have no idea who did the body work.
***upon further inspection it looks like this may be a re-repair. By that i mean i looks like some adhesive had been previously applied to the area to repair a similar, if not the same, incident.
I wish to repair this in the cheapest possible manner. I'm definately not looking to spend an extra 500 bucks to replace and repaint. I'm looking to anyone with any kind of advice or experience similar to my event, to share or advice any further actions. I have zero experience and anything and everything is greatly appreciated.
Thanks
