Default Please help: Torque specs ESP traction bar setup

Does anyone know the proper torque specs for all the 12mm and 10mm nuts and bolts for the ESP traction bar to frame (4 bolts total), radius rods (3 bolts and 1 bottom nut per side) and front torque mount with bracket (2 bolts for bracket 2 for mount)?

I ended up torquing all the 12mm bolts and nuts to 40 ft/lbs except the front torque mount bracket with the (2) small 10mm bolts which I used 30 ft/lbs.

Does this sound correct like what everyone else did???
I was told to torque this amount when I first bought it years back but just wanted to make sure.

Thanks so much!!!

Not to talk down about ESP but I doubt they know the proper torque specs needed for their application, that takes alot of testing and research on very expensive equipment.

I'd just say tighten it down good and rock out.

Yes you will be fine! Just till it gets pretty hard by hand with the ratchet and socket. Not too critical just dont want them to be way loose.

Some loctite wouldn't hurt the cause.

Correct me if I'm wildly off base, but wouldn't a failure of the components described (say, due to torquing some bolts wrong) while the car is rolling be extremely "critical"?

I wouldn't use loctite on the bolts that go to the frame or ones that use a factory prevision welded nut. What will happen is be to hard if you undo them sometime down the road and bam nut breaks from weld and your screwed. The Key is to not over tighten them 40-50 ft lbs will be enough on frame rail bolts. Just tigthten down till gets pretty hard by hand with ratchet and socket. Just don't want them loose.

Thanks so much everyone for the helpful info!!!

I think I should change the stated torque spec I tightened it down with. I greased them all pretty good so I definitely torqued it down decently above 10% over the 30 and 40 ft/lbs that I set it to. That's the good thing about metric 10.9 and grade 8 bolts and nuts they can take alot of beating with a high yield strength.

40 to 50 lbs/ft is plenty on the suspension parts.

To loose would be hand tight.
