tire size help with 14 in wheels!
So I have a 88 dx ef hatch, with 14 inch oem del sol fat fives. Time for new tires, so I needed help with tire size. I'm currently using 195/60r14, but I wanted to run 205's not sure if 205/55r14 will be good, but can someone give me some suggestion, if u have any pics of 14 inch wheels on an ef it would be great if you could post. Thanks
I like the 205/50r15's I used to have when I had my ek si wheels, but now I have these 14 in del sol fat fives, I still want some 205.'s if they will work
Honestly, I'd stay with the 195-60-14 just for cost reasons. Plus there are alot of good tires in that size. I've been runnin the 960AS Potenzas, an awesome all season tire.
On tirerack.com a 205/55/14 starts off at $138 each where as the 195/60/14 starts off at $47 to $96 each
Here's a online wheel calculator for you to use. Just input your stock tire size and the size you wanna compare them to...

Compared to the stock 185/60/14 the 205/55/14 will be closer to your stock diameter. So according to the chart..if you're going 60mph with the 205/55/14 your actually driving at 60.4mph
cheapest place i ever saw. or you can call local tire shops and ask if they sell used tires in the size you want. what size you want comes down to personal preference. http://ssl.delti.com/cgi-bin/rshop.p...6102&s_p=Tires
