'97 Honda Accord LX, no heat coming out
My air conditioning works great and the blower is great. But there is no heat coming out when I set the thermostat. I checked coolant level, and it has no issue. I checked the forum and told to check the lever valve (that toggle on/off) to see it got stuck or not. I opened the hood and I had hard time to locate the the valve. Help need to locate it, and much appreciated if you have a picture...thank you
you'll want to check your heater valve and cable to make sure its free and not binding...i dont have a picture..
play w/ the temp dial. turn it from cold to hot and back and forth.. it should have a slight drag feeling to the ****. if it feels too loose or too tight, you may have a bad cable or valve.
you can also remove the cable end from the heater valve at the firewall on the passenger side and turn that valve by hand to check it for play...
hope this helps

Thanks, do the heater control valve /cable locate inside the car? underneath the dash on the pass side? Thanks redbull as well for the diagram. I found the same diagram, but it is hard to match to the actual....so i am wondering something inside the car? The **** is actually pretty hard to turn to the heat side, but I removed from and checked, it did not look defective to me..thanks folks.
