may be a stupid question, but whats the point wouldnt that dramatically reduce braking power?
From the chasebays site, it says for thier Oct. 20th post its $235 shipped. The Sept. 7th post said they were having issues with the machine shop. I'd call them on Monday to make sure.
I am also wondering this as well are you trying to free up space in the bay or something, seems like a lot of money for effectively a down grade. However I don't think in a civic it would really be a big deal. I drove a jeep with manual brakes for a few years as a daily. Your leg just gets stronger from it haha. Is this just to clean uo the bay, this is really curious to me I would think this could be very complicated. Besides the fact the break setup was not meant to deal the with the huge increase in force applied to the pedal, I would think you will also have to modify the master cylinder etc. to get this to work properly.
yea,
well my brake booster is bad thats in it right now,
and i did a wire tuck recently so i was gonna do a brake line tuck and booster delete to go with it..
i know itd be harder to brake but eventually ull get used to it, aha

cool, checked it out.
does anyone know why they only do the booster delete plates compatible with newer mc's? i have a 90 civic and dont see the point in chaging the mc if i am not going to be changing the size of it.

i have not seen his. either way i think i am going to have someone make me one for my master cylinder unless someone can explain to me why i need to change to the 92 + style
If your gonna replace the booster with a plate, wilwood makes a set that comes with a plate, mc and a new brake pedal that has a higher 6:1 ratio, over the factory honda 3:1, for easier stopping without the booster.
yea but if your going for the delete then your gonna have to make a line fabrication. willwood has a y valve that comes in the set
I thought there was some kind of electric booster you could buy?
Here is somthing similar that i was talking about. its for hot rods but its a one size fits all kinda thing lol

For you guys who are'nt sure why you would do a booster delete, it is more for racing like autocross with a boosted car. For example when your driving on the straight your at full boost when you come to the turn at the last second you let off the gas and slam the brakes, but now you have negative boost so your booster doesnt do nothing and now you need to let off and hit the gas again and hopefully you have enough distance still to stop!!! the delete makes you have direct response when you hit the brake but like someone else said it just a little harder pedal. when you use the delete you also want to get the adapter to reduce the brake pedal arm swing so you have more brake power with less pedal travel.
