Default 3rd gear hard to get into help

my car makes 450whp. i have the stock ITR transmission that came with the car. car has 64k miles. i have a competition stage 4 clutch that has been in the car for about 2000 miles now.

now onto the problem. last weekend, ran my friend to see how fast my car was. after the run was over, i was driving back to my house and then i tried to put it into 3rd gear and it would not go into it and after a little trying, it went in but with some difficulty. i shut the car down for about 20 min then it drove fine again.

someone suggested that i should replace my syncros. anyone else have any suggestions or think they know whats wrong?

thanks

on a side note: im running stock motor mounts currently. should i upgrade to hasport mounts? would i feel any difference or is it even worth it?

Check the simple things first. Transmission fluid level, shifter bushings, Clutch master cylinder & slave cylinder, be sure there is no air in the lines and that the pedal is adjusted properly.

If all that is in good working order, the problem may be inside the transmission.

upgrade your mounts are just a good thing to do with that much power, fwi a simple DIY thats like 10-20 bux homedepo has black polyurathane tube that you can fill your stock mounts with. sounds getto but works perfect!
And it sounds like your tranny was probably overheated but as sotexdc2 said check the fluids etc....
