Ok I took the stock suspension off and ek coupe at the junk yard and put it directally on my ef hatch with nooooo mods. Ok I just got some eg/dc blackworks rear lower control arms and the middle bushing is not fittin it has about 1/4 inch of play... Am I crazy or is something not matching???

 

makes sense, the rear shock off an EK coupe doesnt fit.... by about a 1/4 inch.

i really dont recommend even using the front suspension from an EK on an EF. things arent the right dimensions. but im curious to see how it works out....

 

Well hmmm its on its been on for a week and rides exactally the same... So im lost! i did noooooo mods to the ek it bolted riiiight up... I grabbed my old shock and put it over the bushing and it still didnt fit.....

 

I've been riding on ek suspension 4 about a year now. No problem. Got it aligned and I was good! No prob. I just used aftermarket lower control arms and used the ek front fork.only diffrence between the forks is the diameter of the the shock mount.
