Default My New 96 Civic

Hi all...I've returned to the world of Honda with a recent purchase of a 96 Civic. I plan on holding on to the car for at least the next 5 years, so there are build threads to come! (especially since this particular Civic is like the PERFECT "blank sheet of paper") I look forward to communicating with you all. Stay tuned.

Thanks everyone. I'm from Los Angeles, CA; born and raised. I'm actually relocating east to finish what I started at UTI a few years ago. Subsequent events have shown me that I'll be a gearhead til' I'm under the dirt.

so is that thing stolen or something. No offense but that looks like the paint job my friend did when he left the scene of an accident involving him running into a parked car. Why did they not even bother to tape off the area under the hood. Did you get a good deal? Although the flat back job does look pretty good in terms of coverage etc. not my cup of tea...but whatever floats your boat.

Actually, I bought it that way, and only paid 1200. I'm the third owner of the car, and personally know the other two. The last owner had it sprayed flat black because it's previous color was reddish-pinkish concoction (fail.) I've been doing the maintenance on it for the last year or so, so I know it pretty well. High-priority items right now are suspension joints and bushings, and an engine rebuild; no money for my k20z3 (legal) swap yet, that's WAY down the road.
