Need Help on 91 SI Hatch
ok well i have a D16a6 longblock and was wondering if i can use a Z6 intake manifold...also wanted to know if i could use another engine harness instead of the SI one also would i be able to use a d15b2 Dizzy
Intake manifolds are interchangeable.
Engine harness....why do you want to change it? Not sure of what would work as a direct replacement but a DX one would work as long as you convert it to run MPFI, I'd imagine an OBD0 integ one would work but it may need some modifying here or there...
D15B2 distributor is not compatible (it's missing a sensor needed for the Si)
If you read in the FAQ you'll see that it seems it's easier to convert a DPFI to MPFI rather than transplant the whole MPFI harness to a DPFI car. I don't know what's different between the two on the car side but based on that, if your car is already an Si then it would make sense that the difference goes both ways (in otherwords use an Si harness since your car is an Si).

dash harness is not the same as the front body harness. the literal dash board harness, that sends power and signals to your cluster, clock, radio, heater controls, and multifunction switch, plug into the fuse box, and are not changed body style to body style, only year to year. if you are saying that your front body harness, the one that runs under all the foam, hooks up to your ecu, sunroof, blower motor, wiper motor, front running lights, front signals and headlights is chopped up (which it shouldn't be) then you would have to either convert a dpfi body harness to mpfi, along with the dpfi engine harness, or find another si body harness.
as far as the engine harness goes, if you have any soldering skills, just repair your current engine harness. not hard to do.
