D15B7 in 91 DX
Hey guys, my d15b2 blew up so i put a d15b7 in my 91 dx.
changed over the driver eng mount, d15b2 intake mani, dizzy, 02 sensor etc.
hooked everything up and shes runs.
few issues. Hesatates at lower rpm's. boggs out until about 1500-2500 rpm then runs fine. i know im not off a tooth because it runs nice and smooth after 2 k rpm or so.
any suggestions? i did get a shock off the dizzy when i grounded myself on the TB trying to rev it. could there be some kind of electrical loading going on inside the dizzy?
Ive read that you need the d15b2 cam in the b7 for it to work properly. Im hoping this isint true.
any ideas/suggestions would be great. to clarify the timing is ok, im not off a tooth and its getting fuel. the car ran fine befor the b2 blew and nothing has changed exept for the new block and head.
Thanks.

the d15b2 and the d15b7 are about as close to the same motor as you can get internally, that thing you heard about the cam is false.
I would be willing to bet this is a timing issue. You seem quite sure about the timing but it never hurts to double and triple check things.

Set the crank pulley to TDC, pull the cam cover, and take a pic :D[/QUOT
Ok will do. Thanks.
