Vtec solenoid gasket is going bad all the time???

Default Vtec solenoid gasket is going bad all the time???

So i have this issue all the time with my teg, my Vtec solenoid gasket is always starts licking after about 6 months, i always buy them at HONDA dealership and the gasket i get is for B16 block, is there any difference between GSR and SI vtec solenoid gasket???

put a little hondabond around the edges and try to correctly tq them to spec.

i put some gasket maker in Vtec solenoid where the gasket goes and then put the gasket in it, let the car sit for about an hour and then drove it, haven't seen it leak yet maybe that will help, thanks man. i still wanna know if there is any difference in between them cuz maybe i should find Acura dealership and get one from there, there wasn't one around where i used to live.
