Thus far a removable steering wheel that was overlooked. *facepalm*
A new transmission was just put in as it was not drivable up until a week ago.
Thank you guys, I hope it's recovered intact too, but I know the chances are slim. :/
I don't even have pictures of the car yet which makes it a little harder to recover.

There are many steps that one can take to prevent the theft of their investment. Many steps to recover the car as a whole if they are good enough to take it. What I meant by careless is taking it to places like the movies or the mall where you will be indoors and far away for an extended period of time. or leaving it parked outside the house. I'm not here for an argument of any sort, I'm just here to let people that there is way more to security than detachable steering wheels, kill switches and simple alarms. Check out the Audio/Visual/Security forum if you guys want to learn more.

One of the issues with the lack of security was that up until 3 days prior to it being stolen was it was not drivable. Boyfriend just put in a new transmission 3 days beforehand. The car was a magnet unfortunately because it's too low to pull into my driveway it had to be parked on the street, making it even easier to steal.
Our dog barks at the sound of a car door opening or closing. The person who stole it obviously knew this, they popped the lock, didn't close the door and pushed started it at the bottom of the hill on my street.
At least my Del Sol is still intact.
*knock on wood*
Thank you.
