So if you had a choice, on my vehicle, a gen 1 silver awd manual, to get a dry carbon fibre hood/roof/rear stock wing, or had the second option to get a brushed aluminium hood and roof/wing....what would you do!?

Remember the exterior is silver and trimmed in black... here is a semi recent pic of the outside of the car, then a pic of the dry carbon, and then the aluminium......

 

Are the aluminum and CF parts reasonably priced?

 

price isnt an issue, just trying to see if everyone has the same opinion on the astetic look as I do on a silver car. After i make my final decision...the last question will be, just do the hoo, or the whole top of the car!?

 

If ya do the hood also do the roof. But I vote for leaving it stock.

Wouldn't the brushed aluminum show a lot of water stains and be harder to manage and keep as clean looking as the paint or CF.

Looks great as is.

The first pic you posted was of CF vinyl decals. They look pretty real, but why fake the funk?

 

are they vinyl decals?? i thought it was a different style of weave.....!?!?
im doin a cf hood and wing on summer time, may be the fullmark tailgate
if my contacts from my country could get hold of a mold/pattern...
i dont think theres cf maker here in the US that has one...
also im sticking to the regular weave/pattern (3k,plain)

I am thinking of auto x also. I'm so picky on suspension, I won't do it until I have a few more custom things made first, like some more lower mid bracing and fender bracing, and finally upgrading to the brambo/hawk/stainless brake setup I used to have.

I am still considering the carbon. I have my laptop, cane, lighter, alarm keypad, phone, ect.. All done in the dry carbon.

 

im liking the dry carbon, it will pop well with the silver
