I'm changing the head gasket on my gsr and I was wondering what the best and cheap gasket is out there? It's not for a race motor, just a daily driver.

 

an oem gasket (a gasket from the honda dealer) will be the best for just daily driving

 

OEM, Honda/Acura.

I would never use anything else, unless the bore size needed isn't available, or there was a sealing issue.

 

Just go with the OEM from the stealership, you do not want to use crap for a part like that.

OEM and felpro are the same gasket. buy whatever is cheaper. for the gsr headgasket app in north america fel pro is the honda supplier. don't worry, they are all made to honda spec. it's also obvious if you put them right next to each other.

check your block deck for trueness ! these gaskets almost NEVER fail in a stock app. blown headgaskets often mean warped blocks or warped heads.
