ok i am trying to upgrade my fuel pump on the hatch. took off the three screws under the back seat unpluged the pigtail took of the cover and now this is were i am stuck how do i open the top of the fuel tank to change the fuel pump?

 

theres a cover ring. its probably super dirty. but if you look closely, you will notice that the ring actually spins to unlock it.

 

If your car is an ef.....you gotta drop the tank to get to the fuel pump.....good luck.

 

to be more specific, its in the back where you cant access it. on EG's its right under that plate, but its not with EF's. gotta do it the hard way and drop the tank to get to the pump.
