96 jdm itr wheel conv. on ek hatch.
please help!!
okay, so i bought a 97 civic hatch and i want to do the 4x114.3 wheel conversion. i already have the setup off the 96 integra type r from japan.
it comes with both front knuckles with rotors, pads, and calipers. for the rear, it comes with rotors, pads, calipers, and the ebrake cables. i know the rear will fit perfect because i did this for another already.
so i did the front driver side the other day and it doesnt seem to fit right. the knuckle hits the springs when installing but after i put the wheels on and drop it, it has doesnt touch anymore. and after i drop the car, the wheels camber super bad and my car is stock height.
HELP PLEEEEEEEAASE???

I don't think anyone in here is retarded, who are you to judge anyone? If he's referring to a '96 ITR then he can only be referring to a JDM model, in 1996 in the US, the ITR was not available. So apparently we'd only be talking JDM models, not USDM. It's a known fact that the JDM '96 Spec ITR did not come with 5-lug suspension. Part of the '98 spec upgrades included five lugs per wheel. That's like saying HID's were available on the '96 Spec......
I think the thing that's making the confusion is that the JDM 96-spec was made from late 95 through 97. There was no JDM "97-spec" (still considered a 96-spec, but made in '97), but there was a '97 USDM ITR with 5-lug. 5-lug didn't make its appearance on the ITR in Japan until the 98-spec.

Apparently the only one in here who didn't have there facts straight were the OP. So don't post without thinking. Don't post when you don't know what you're talking about.
And that was a simple type-o. I didn't start criticizing anyone like you apparently felt the need to. I can say I know my facts pretty well, especially when it comes to ITR's, buddy.
so are the upper control arm from a civic and an integra the same.? and its best to get an alignment after the swap is complete.. as for if the setup came off a ctr. an alignment wouldnt be needed.. from since its off an integra.. align it..
