Comparision: I cant decide between these 2 options - HELP!
Ok so i just dropped a b20v setup in my eg hatch. At first i was just going to send out my ECU to pherable.net and have it chipped with a basemap.
Awhile after that i was searching clist and found a p28 w/ s100 already tuned for almost my exact setup(By King Motorsports). The only difference is he had a built b16 head(w/ stock cams) and I have a stock Gsr head.
Will the p28 w/s100 make that big of a difference between the 2 heads? Or am i better off getting pherable to chip my ecu and stick with that?
Setup:
b20b block - Stock
p72 gsr head stock
Blox intake mani.
I/H/E
Type R Flywheel
Opinions plz!
Thanks!

I would just suggest getting a chipped ecu with a basemap on it for your setup.
Then if you want the best for your car, look for a tuner in your area to straighten your tune out.

Ok but then once i get it chipped and a basemap on it thats all the tuner will need to straighten the tune out?
As long as your ecu is chipped it can be tuned via a rom editor (neptune, crome, etc), since the chips are reburnable.
You just neeed a basemap that will run/drive the car ok. Which on a mild setup like you have should not be a problem.
