Default both DX's have trouble starting up sometimes....

i have two dx's right now, and both of them will sometimes not start. this always happens after they've run for a little while. for some reason i'll stop the engine (orr stall it ) and then it's won't start back up for about 5 minutes, but once it starts it has no problems. i've never had the engine cut out on me while driving, and it runs fine. anyone know what might be going on?

Im going to go with him. Sounds like the main relay. You can tell if the main relay is faulty by listening to the fuel pump and also for a clicking sound near the fuse box when you but the ignition in the "on" position.

You should first hear the click under the dash and the fuel pump hum as soon as you turn the key on. Then about 2 seconds later, you should hear the click again as the fuel pump stops humming.

No clicks and no hums, = bad relay. :S

Probably so, depending on your definition of "catching". When Im telling you to listen to the sounds, your not supposed to be turning over the engine. Just putting it in the "on position".

so a faulty main relay wouldn't stop the starter from working?
