hi. So i like to know, why people like to buy name brand parts. Do it make your car faster? like dc headers, why not so ebay header. its made with the same stuff, the opening of the header is the same size to. and intake why get aem? its a tube and a filter. ebay get a intake tube to. same size and same material.

i know some stuff that are name brand are good. but how do you know. if its made to work the same and look alike?

Quality is much greater with name brand parts vs. ebay. if you see a $150-200 header, i guarantee it doesnt have the same R&D and quality material as some of the $800+ race headers.

are these the only two parts you were considering from ebay?

 

Its also called supporting businesses that are making an effort to support our industry. Buying from copy cat knock off companies does nothing but drive the R&D out of our industry. At some point the "name brand" companies are going to quit making parts, because someone rips it off, and the orig comp makes little to no money. (I'm not sure if people understand how a business works anymore.) And when that happens, who are the fakes gonna copy? No one. Then what are we left with? Nothing
