Default 4th gen suspension question

May be stupid question, don't think it will work but will the shocks/struts off a 91 civic hatch be compatable wit the 92 prelude? Reason being my friend has a set of k-sport coilover set on his wrecked hatch and we weren't sure if it would work be thought it would be a question to ask. Thanks

I would say no being that the spring rates are completely different and the strut lengths are completely different aswell
