yeah my GF hates it but I never turn my dome light on.... lol

its kind of a down grade i think. u can see more with the reg halogen bulb

 

You definitely don't see more with the standard bulb. Did you get a chance to look at the full review?

 

no i haven't but from my experience with the hyper white led bulbs i put in mine a while ago felt like it was bright at one spot but not all around. yet it only had one led so i dont know about your product, i don't have anything against it.

 

I know exactly what you are talking about. The difference though is that these are actual LED panels (multiple LEDs). It's not just a single LED diode. If you're interested, here is the full review:

I have a bright white LED for my license plate. Makes my 06 Type-S actually look like an 06. hahaha. I scorn the nasty standard bulb for the license plate.

Only bad thing is that after a few months, the bulb will start to flicker and eventually start going out(5-bulb led). Good thing it came with a 5 pack.

Wait, did I just read this dome light was for $62.00USD? Wow. Please tell me I read something incorrectly.

That would be the case with lower grade LED products (and there are definitely many of those around). Putco offers a lifetime warranty on their LED products. They use German diodes and Japanese circuit boards to ensure quality of the product. Final assembly is done right here in North America as well on most of their products.

ohh thats pretty neat. it dummies the connector to a board of leds. how much are they i dont think i saw a price.

 

I put one in my car its deff brighter then the stock bulb!!

^^ you should post in a Volkswagen forum those kind of guys are into stuff like this and big wheels, same with some of the Nissan people, just a thought maybe you get more buyers there
