Is it different front the rear one? I bought the screws for them and the rear ones went in just fine but the it won't fit in the front. Do I have to go to the dealer to get them? How much does the dealer charge?

 

Anyone? I know it's a lame question to ask here but everyone I asked didn't know.

 

I dont run front plate, my holes are shaved but if you goto autozone you can but screws for your rear plate, I use them for my plate, theres a special tool that comes with the kit.

 

Autozone, forgot all about them. I'm gonna swing by there and see if they've got my solution!

I live in Toronto, by law we have to have our front plates mounted. I've been driving without but my friend just got a ticket for it so I want to play it safe.

 

same with me man, most states have front plate law, but I dont run one, havent for 2years....no issues with it by cops My bumper shaved anyways...

 

You mean that optional front plate bracket or the two holes on the bumper instead?

 

the front constantly gets water in it so there might be rust build up and you cant see it i am pretty sure you can use the 10mm fender and hood hinge bolts i think that is what i have for my rear plate so try spraying some WD40 or something in there and then screwing them in

 

Anybody know what size that threads are on the front bumper plate holes? They seem smaller than the rear which i think i used standard 6mm bolts on...

 

 

when i took a front plate off my 96, there were nuts on the back of the bolts that fell inside the bumper on top of the styrofoam. there are no threads in the plastic bumper cover on the front of my car.
