It's tough. I swear it is like D16s are the new B17 or ITR motor. They seem to be rare as ****. Or maybe people don't get rid of there junk stock motors anymore. The way things are looking I think I'm going to LS-V my car instead. LS motors are easy to come by for me right now. I just don't want to get rid of my pretty nice D-series setup if I don't have to.

I saw a D15 on Craigslist for $400, but his price was so high I didn't even bother talking him down. A couple months back my friend got a complete D15 longblock with transmission, mounts, shift linkage, intake manifold, throttle, header, exhaust - a complete swap for $150. A month ago he picked up a minty 80k mile LS longblock for $200. I know the motors are out there somewhere. And both those deals were just friends that hooked it up, no luck searching.

I recommend buying your car at Hertz they have really great vehicles at affordable prices. Anyone here used them before?
