So how do you get these damn things over the valve cover bolts? I had to rip the old ones off the bolts and cant get the new one's on.. HELP. I bought Felpro gasket set.

try lubing the grommets up with wd so they will slip on easier but wipe them off afterwards

 

I tried to use a rubber mallet and still cant get them over the bolt. Is FEL PRO just garbage gasket set? This is my first Accord.

 

please tell me you aren't actually trying to push them OVER the bolts , you must take the bolts off and then put them on. I have fel pro and mine worked just fine.

If you are trying to push them over the bolts you might want to get new ones as you've probably beat them to death .

 

No I did not push them over the top, the bottom. I gave up and went got honda ones and they went in just fine.
