I have a eg hatch and I'm taking the carpet it but I wanted to know how can I clean the interior aka the metal floor to make it look like brandnew.. what material to us and product, and where can I get them. Or if takin it to a shop is better? Thank you...

nah you can do it yourself no need to take it anywhere. Degreaser is a must , I use purple power, AutoZone sells it but I hate them so try to find it elsewhere. I just make sure to let it sit a little while before wiping it up. Degreaser should be all you really need I think. you could wax it if you wanted afterwards lol!

X2! I've done this as well, I went back over it with windex with amonia afterwards because most degreasers leave a light oily residue. Just don't use engine brite lol, and I guess you could wax it although I don't see the point, especially if you use spray adhesive to help the carpet hold.
OP: unless you're really ****, I wouldn't paint it, or unless you're painting the whole car and doing a color change, then I might think about it. Definitely do it yourself... Hell with payin someone to clean it lol. Goodluck!

no need to paint unless you changed exterior color - no point in waxing it either it was just a joke - thats true about the residue although i usually have used water to neutralize it afterwards.
