Stormy weather and San Francisco pics with the SI...
What's up Guys and Gals. A couple of days ago we had a half way descent storm here in Sacramento, Ca, so I thought I would go out and take some shots with the cool looking sky. Then I decided to run out to San Francisco this morning and take a few shots during the sunrise. Just thought I'd share them with you, let me know whatcha think!!

Those are some nice pics. Picture 5 and 6, is that right next to the little Coast Guard Station? It looks like a clear day, man I miss the bay area.
Thanks everyone for the nice words. Glad you like them!!
Haha. Love to. Plan on going to the bay area more often to take some shots. Any cool spots in San Jose to take some shots?
Any tips are helpful, I really don't know what I'm doing when it comes to artificial lighting. I've been pondering the idea of a flash...
Yes sir. Pretty cool little spot I think. Yeah it was incredibly clear, and dare I say it got a little "warm". I was hoping for a more intense sky, but I think they turned out pretty nice.
Yes sir. The local pictures are a little dramatic, but I like the way the SF pics came out...
Nah. It's easier than you think. I just know the bare basics...
Haha...
Nikon D80, kit lens. HDR done in Photomatix, then touched up in PS CS2
Thanks. Photomatix is what I use to render the HDR. Then in Photoshop I play with contrast, sharpening, and some shadow/highlights functioning. I really don't "know" I'm doing, I just play with different setting anf try to have fun with it. Real photographers seem to hate my pics, but the average joe's like us seem to like them. And that's all that matters to me...
