EK rear seats
i have a 96' civic Dx and went to the junk yard the other day and saw some absolutely gorgeous rear seats that matched the pattern of my current fronts - Looked like they were 2009 - so i bought the bottom and two rear halves. They were from a 99' civic i believe - THEY DO NOT FIT - the little metal u's if you want to call them are in different locations and i have not even checked out the two upright sections to see if they'd fit. Does anyone know anything about this????

I vaguely remember something crazy like 96 being slightly different than 97-00 or something..I don't know. I am sure that is not correct. But I thought I read something crazy like that. Hopefully someone can chime in who knows for sure what the deal is.
So are you saying that rear leathers out of a DC Coupe will fit perfectly in a cvic coupe? I have RSX leathers in the front and I've been searching for rear leathers that match and fit perfectly. Any suggestions? (sorry to thread jack)
just take them apart and swap the metal brackets on the cushions and zip tie them back to the metal bracket, thats how i did my itr rear seats cuz the metal bars or hinges would fit right.
im not sure about the hatches but in my coupe there is no seats that fit in the back other than civic seats i have leather front and back but had to seriously modify the rear uppers and reuppaulster the bottom using the stock base really tidious job but the results are great.

if if u have a ek hatch they are like the eg or dc, da , rsx seats a 50/50 split but if u have a coupe they are a 60/40 split i was thinkin u might be able to to take offthe bottom bracket and re weld it in the center
