HELP PLEASE!!! Sputtering issues on '98 GSR
A few things to note first:
1.) Ignitor and coil pack have been replaced
2.) O2 sensor on the exhaust pipe is now currently unplugged
3.) Map sensor has been checked ok
4.) Compression outstanding
5.) Plugs and wires fine
It started and drove fine for a 5 minute test run. Shut it down and cranked it an hour later to take a ride again and as soon as I flutter the gas to back out it bogs down. Car has never left me on the side of the road, EVER, and still has not. It sometimes bogs to the point where the tack seems to be at zero and you wonder how it's still running but it is. When I left work one day i chanced it and drove it home when I got it between 2-3 thousand RPMs it seemed ok still slight sputter but driveable. I'm just lost on this. I can only suspect foul gas. Any ideas??? Thanks everyone.
