TD Autowerkes EK is getting a makeover for NSCRA finals!
We recently decided to make some small changes in preparation for the NSCRA Finals!...
Last pass (friday 11/13) Durng testing, we were down on power the last pass (9.43@150) And hear a small tick coming from the head. Long story short, we broke one of the wheels on the rockers and needle bearings came out..... We found this out after taking the motor apart thinking it was bearings. So we decided to freshen the motor up, considering it was the same motor we ran last year in the red EG and had gotten over 5,000 highway miles and over 300 40+ pis runs!! So we fitted it up with new:
CP 88mm pistons with upgraded pins
Piston rings
bearings main/rod/thrust
head gasket
head studs
16 new valves (Thanks Zeke @ Ferrea)
16 new guides
all new seals
New garrett GT4202R( Thanks Garrett)
and a few more goodies...
Also decided it was the prefect time to install the Exospeed front end....

car will be back on the dyno next week. we will be giving it 70-75 PSI base pressure so secondary injectors arent @ 118-122% anymore.. We were running 60 base so the extra 10-15 psi of fuel pressure should fix that problem!

8's would be awesome... car has been getting quicker every time out... so even if it doesnt go 8's id be happy with anything better than a .27@164
