I had a chance to drive an 07 Si today and I'd like to slap the engineer that decided on that e-brake location in the neck.
Have any of you taller guys pulled off a relocation? It seems so ridiculous that it was placed where it was.

I'm only 5'11" and it bothers me. I have bad knees and it hurts to keep them straight. Not to mention it's not a natural driving position to have your legs fully extended, unless you're in a race car with a very low seat.

 

im 6'5 and it doesnt bother me nor does it hit my knee

 

I'm sure it varies greatly with seating position.

 

I agree, I'm 6'3" and I would like to relocate the ebrake.

Chop off the lever and carry two bricks in your trunk. Problem solved.

Really?!! That 'cushion' is just a six inch chunk of water pipe insulation!! Buy some at Home Depot or wherever, Krazy Glue the gap closed and put it on your brake lever!!
