My brother in law's civic? Are they screwin him?
My brother in law needs a fuel line replaced on his civic ('01 I think?), and they're quoting him like $750CAD to do the work. They quoted at six hours labor (apparently they have to drop/pull the engine to change the line?).
It's a rubber line in the engine bay that chafed through rubbing against a motor mount. They're telling him it's a hig pressure line. He doesn't know much about cars, and I'm worried he's possibly getting hooped.
Sound reasonable/plausible?

Something does not sound right? What shop/dealership? If it is a plastic line, you can buy the repair kits at Canadian Tire, basically a piece of metal that acts as a union between the two piece of plastic, cut out the section with the hole, and push this in to seal the leaking section.
