I've got a pair of Gathers curved panel speakers from a JDM EG4 Civic VTi on eBay. Unlike the flat-paneled Gathers speakers, these will bolt right onto a USDM Civic without any mods. I don't have to tell you how hard these are to come by.

Yeah, they're dark grey. I've heard that JDM black is a different shade than USDM black.

I was thinking about your speakers here when I was looking at my own today -- don't want to be pedantic here, but it occurred to me that they aren't from a JDM VTi; only the JDM EG3 MX and the JDM EG5 Si had the "Tokyo Seat" interior ... ie., like the CDM/USDM rear seats. Right, you are...these are from an EG3. I'm not even sure why I thought these were VTi speakers. But yes, due to the fact that these will actually fit in a CDM/USDM hatch is what determined the final price, which wasn't bad considering the economy.
