Im looking to see what valves you guys are using with success, I have to have my head redone due to JG ****ing it up! Are you guys having success with super tech? Manly? Or is everyone just running Ferrea?

lol ya, will never ever use those scandalous bastards again! Cracked valve seats and all.
going to cost me another G to repair there BS. The Tops of the exhaust valves were all mushroomed due to the valves being seated to high, the machine shop said anyways

 

supertech, skunk2 I have personally had great results with.

 

just the normal ss ones, or the inconnel ones?

 

I've been using supertech, but my new build will have Ferrera

 

85lb seat pressure on the ss ones. I didnt have a problem and I revved to 10,500 on the nrg tech cams.

 

why the reason for change?

fwiw, i used ferrera on my 400whp daily driver. let alone a 11k rpm 800+whp beast

 

Dav at headgames will help you out on your choice. Ferrea 1086 here will hold pretty much anything you throw at it.

 

no real reason except for going with all one brand. gonna use the rollers and all.

i'm running skunk2 in my setup, making approx 450whp and revving to 10k, although it has gone well past 11k time or two. I'm actually building my other head right now for my sleeved block and was wondering what others were using for 800 +whp and revving to 11k if needed.

 

what ferrea valves are you guys using? There are like 3 diff ones right?
