Default Been Busy...

Working on more intake manifolds

And a few pictures of the internal velocity stacks we machined.

The base plate has the IAT, as well as 6x 1/8" NPT Fittings and 2x, 3/8" NPT Fitting bosses machined into it.

-James

Update with new pics!

Manifold fits like a glove!

Are the three braces installed between the runners their to protect against flex and resonation?

No those are a long bolt going between the head flange and the plenum base plate, the runners are o ring sealed to both the head flange and the plenum base plate as well. There is a sleeve over the bolt to reduce any vibration that would otherwise be transferred to the bolt, also it does give a bit better anesthetics than just seeing a bolt go through there.

This manifold is a modular manifold and therefor means, the runner lengths may be changed out at any time, as well as the plenum. Also it helps to make the manifold alot easier to produce...

O Ring Groove in the plenum base plate

Bolts gong from head flange to plenum base plate

The plenum base plate is cnc machined from .5" solid billet so I am pretty sure it wont be going anywhere anytime soon.

We are working on getting all the final details finished on our 3 different plenum types as well as the single and dual injector head flanges 100% bug free (cnc machine program wise)

Basically we are doing a stage 1, 2 and 3 deal for the plenums

Stage 1 plenum will be around 2liters volume and incorporate a typical velocity stack machined into the floor of the plenum. This one we are tuning for the 350-500 whp mark and will be more focused for daily drivers, weekend warriors, and road course setups.

Stage 2 plenum will be a little over 3.5 liters volume (volume determined without velocity stacks, so slightly less) and incorporate a slightly lesser raised air horn very similar to what is posted above. This plenum is being tuned for powers around 800whp and is more meant for the drag guys. Think sport fwd...

Stage 3 plenum (posted above) is 5 liters volume (volume determined without velocity stacks so slightly less). This setup is tuned for the go big or go home crowd, 800++++ whp...

Once I get all 3 setups 100% I will send them all to you for you to do a very nice testing and review on. Actually I will be sending them to many of shops to get them circulating, so yall will all have to share and play nice lol

Hey Aldo and Jose,
this one is actually the smaller one I was telling yall I was working on.

Here is your big bad one for your car Jose

Sam is supposed to be finishing up those dual injector flanges for me within 2 weeks, also we will have to build the new fuel rail which we are bumping the dual injector rails size up to a -12 an

Why not machine the velocity stacks to 180* bellmouths? It looks like there is plenty of room.

Looks like an interesting design. I am assuming most customers who purchase this unit are FI?

For some reason our mastercam (program we use to write the programs for the cnc mills) does not want to cut a radius on it right there. Sam has spent many hours trying to get it to but it just does not want to co-operate.

We will eventually get it to quit being a little punk and subside but till then this is how it is.

Either FI or big rpm high power all motor.
