Default can you do this?

I have a 94 civic cx hatch with an ls swap in it.im bout to get a 95 delsol with the b16 in it.
so i was wondering if i could just completely take everything out of the delsol and just move it to my civic?like computer wiring harness everything.will the wiring harness match up to my civic.and will the engine drop right in since i already have a b series swap?

my question wasnt if it will fit or not...i KNOW it will fit...my question was can i literally take everything out of my civic(engine, wiring harness, ecu)and take everything out of the delsol and just move it over to my civic?like does the wiring harness have the exact same connections as my car or will i have to change some things in the wiring harness to match my car? does anyone know what i mean by this?will it be exactly like installing the b18b1 again in regards to connecting everything electrically?

far as i know del sol are obd1... all obd1 engines can fit with each other without changing wireing harness ... so therefore, wiring it up wont be different so it will fit... unless u got no vtec wires, their that will be the only thing that needs wiring up, which is easy as FU*k trust me

thank you.thats partly what i was wanting to know.would it be easier to just swap wiring harnesses between the two cars or just wire up vtec?right now i have a b18 non vtec in it.and i plan to put the b16 in my civic and the b18b1 in the delsol.so would it be easier to just completely swap wiring harnesses?i know ill have to swap ecus

if your car falls in 92-93 civics it will be pre vtec wired already... if not you can just swap out the engine harness and the harness by the passenger strut tower to the ecu from your delsol that has the vtec wires ready... its also easy to just hook up the vtec wires ;p i think both obd1 vtec engines are the same wireings so its 2 wires that need hookups took me 20 mins to prep wires and put it in and wallah vtec

i say just swap motor and ecu and harness since it can be easy

btw im in process of ls swap.... did ya use the stock motor mounts from the integra?

Thats funny how you have the money to buy two(2) swapped civics; but common knowledge to search is priceless.

Why would you choose a b16 over b18 (besides vtaak) in your civic?
IMO just put the b16 tranny in yout ls hatch

the second car isnt a swapped civic its a stock delsol si vtec.the guy is hurting for money and needed to sell quick...an why would i keep the b18b1 instead of the b16?i know the torque is better in the ls but the b16 is just a faster engine.and i dont ever plan on turboing my car either...so to me the b16 seems like the better choice

yes, you can, but I think it would be easier to keep the engine harnesses with the engines and just wire in vtec.

The big advantage in swapping EGs is that the engine harnesses completely unplug at the shock tower. Therefore, you can unplug the engine from there in one car, swap it into the other, and plug it back in, more or less without having to pull the entire harness out. You'll just have to add whatever wiring you're missing.
