Vacuum Question on a 93 Accord ex
I just bought a 93 accord ex!
I found a hanging vacuum hose from the back of the engine. Found were it broke off. But I don't know what it is, its located write behind the rear engine mount! It looks like some sort of valve! Can someone explain what that thing does?
Thanks for all your help!

Did the line just pop off or is the nipple that it connects to broken off. If your engine is in stock form and even without looking at it I can tell you that you need it if you want to keep the same fuel economy you had before it broke. Vacuum lines are a such a pain to mess with.
If the line just popped off I would have just stuck it back on! I am having Idle issues after its warm! and well the nipple broke! The engine is stock however! So ya not fun! But I was wondering what is that thing!
I'm at work on a government computer so I can't tell you yet, On my break I will check my laptop. if it idles funny after warm up then its either your IACV or your FITV. one of those two and I'm guessing the latter.
