Default Fawk!!!! Fawking sheit!!

Damn, I am pissed off today because I was driving my car to Charlotte, NC and in 10 minutes of normal driving, I noticed something in my car that was different. The car was dying and making a loud *** noise coming from the motor. I notice that it would be the internal. So I made an exit and put the car into neutral and the car died. So I cranked it back up and it fired up but with the loud *** noise. Stopped at a gas station and checked it out. Couldn't figure it out and got one of my friends to diagnose it. Came to find out that it was either the main seals or the rod. I had to agree to it too because it was loud. I mean loud, really. So I made a whole lot of phone calls around to see if anyone can tow my car home. Turns out, no one was available. So I took the risk of driving my car to my cousin's house which is 4 miles away. About half way to his house, making a right, the car died and I cranked it back up and went up the little hill. Turns out, the car made a little jerk and the FAWKING engine blew. FAWK!!! This is what I fawking get for babying the **** out of my car that only has 167,000 miles estimated. Fawk!!! What a fawking bad day! Damn, it turns out that I will need another motor. By the way, I drive a stock EJ1. I keep thinking about going B-series because I am on a budget but I want to keep it simple, so I'm going to get another D16Z6. I just feel like telling you guys this because either you care or not but it just makes me feel a little bit better to tell my anger out. Thanks!

i feel ya bro, look at the bright side, your safe. you were not hurt. and it could be way worse. and thank god for honda D-series motors are WAY cheap and easy to install via DIY. the key in situations like this, is to stay calm. think what your next steps will be to fix your problem, find time, find friends to help, swap. ride out. life happens to all of us.

thanks and in fact the car was driving fine at for 10 minutes. runs like a champ and then it starts to fawk up. it's like everything was still good. nothing wrong and all of a sudden you start to hear something from the muffler like it was going to die, no power. whatever it is that may have a positive comment or negative comment, i don't mind but the matter of the fact is that you weren't there. however, it's all good. what's done is done. i feel better now. now, I'm gonna have to take a loan from school and get me another d-series. See ya.

i know the feeling bro, it sucks. spun a rod bearing in my motor a couple years ago, and it is the worst feeling. but like Ferio4ya said, stay calm, and think it through. a d series motor will be way cheaper than the b16a2 i had to replace. and get a couple nice parts to put on the replacement, makes you feel a little better about spending a bunch of bucks if you get something, anything, better than it was. i got a header and a stage 1 clutch to make me feel better when i replaced mine.

either way, motor is gone. no way to save it cuz in order to fix it you would have to rebuild the block.

plus, sohc motors are cheap. but i'm guessing you prob dont know how to swap motors, so will cost you some money.

it's all good now. i'm taking a loan right now at my school to get another d-series. however, i do know how to swap another single cam in but the only problem i would have is probably doing the timing. which i have my brother-in-law to help me out. he's a crazy guy about hondas.

yeah turns out that i might just want to go ahead and sell the body for a decent price because everything is still good except just for the motor. i'm plan on selling the car for 2500 if anyone wants it. interior and exterior is still good, skunk2 adjustable coilovers, skunk2 front and rear camber kits, too much to list. i mean i basically replaced everything on this car to make it look at its best as OEM. only problem is that it needs new lower ball joints and the catalytic converter and the exhaust pipe needs to be welded.

Actually packman I would rather have this happen to me then to wake up to an empty parking spot, but I guess you're one of the lucky ones who has never felt those type of emotions.

not yet, but i imagine it's only a matter of time. heard my alarm going off at 3am a few months back, ran outside to see a car speeding away. looked at my car and realized they had been trying to pry my hood up to get to the battery, and were very close to getting there. if they had popped the battery, the alarm wouldn't have done any good, and i would have no car. good thing my alarm is sensitive and that they were bad thieves.

damn, they must of been scouting your car for good. you were eventually lucky though but i guarantee they might do it again but chances are they aren't. maybe they were lousy thiefs because everytime I am on honda-tech and be reading other people's forum about how thieves can get through their security, it amazes me.

yeah i don't think they were very good thieves, or i wouldn't have a car. also, pretty sure they saw me, and saw that i didn't come outside empty handed, so I doubt they will be back.
