Default b series oil pan installation

i just got a fitting welded on to my oil pan for the oil return on my turbo setup. i cannot get that **** to seal properly for my life since i took that mo fo off. im going on to the tenth time for that ****!

can anybody give me some help or advice on what works in regards to installing a oil pan and getting the gasket to seal properly?

i have tried honda bond on both sides (no luck), i have tried no honda bond (no luck) i have a new gasket waiting to go in but im waiting for veteran suggestions before i proceed.

btw im not half assing the process. every time i install that pan i have everything super clean and even alcohol wiped and ready to go, and im still getting damn leaks.

the oil pan is not banged up in any way shape or form. i have a combination of studs and bolts (in an alternating fashion = stud ... bolt ... stud .. bolt)

i even tried cross torquing the bolts and still no damn luck. and the block and pan are both virgin.

any ideas or insightful suggestions would be appreciated. thanks again everyone

all i ever have done was clean surface really good. put a little silicone in each right angled corner and put on.. don't over tighten bolts or it will crush it to much.. you sure that the pan isn't warped.. also you sure your crank main seal and oil pump seal arent leaking..

I had the same problem when I put my back, but it wasn't leaking like crazy, just dime size leaks by the flywheel side. But, I still don't like any leaks in my garage, so on my day off I removed the the oil pan, I drained the oil prior to removal, then I saw the corner of the gasket was torn on the flywheel side. Instead of buying another gasket, I just put more silicone where the crack was. Voila!!! No more leaks.

ensure that you are not tightening the bolst and nuts too much or else the gasket will spread too much and cause leakage.
