Default another b16 cam??

I have a b16a2 in my civic. Intake and exhaust, otherwise stock. For the time being, I'm gonna pick up CTR cams...my question is should i upgrade the valvetrain?? If I do I will get supertech valve springs... If I should get them, should I also get the valves and retainers?? And how about cam gears, do I need a set of those or stock will be fine??

I also will be installing my intake manifold, honata gasket, 370cc rc's, and get tuned on crome... any input would be great...

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH CTR CAMS IN A B16A!!!!

Buddy Club Spec 3+ cams are MUCH better for a mild B16A.
if you have a short ram intake replace it with a cold air unit.
if youre on a budget a DC 4-1 header is ok, if not go with the TODA replica.
if i were you i would take the head off get a thin head gasket from Buddy Club, Omni springs and retainers and Supertech valves. Skunk2 makes decent cam gears so does AEM. and yes you should DEFINITELY get them for a B16A.
if want to know a SECRET tuning tip about the cam gear settings on the B16A, PM me.
too bad you have the Crome and intake manifold already. i know a REALLY, REALLY nice ECU program and intake manifold/throttle body setup.
PM me if you are interested in that setup.

****do you have a GEN II JDM B16A swap or USDM B16A2??*****
