Cable Transmision- Clutch pedal drops to the floor
1992 Integra, stock transmission, B18b swap.
Just installed new clutch kit and release bearing. Checked release bearing function before transmission installation, checked out ok.
Installed tranny, clutch lever pulls up just fine, can feel resistance of bearing pushing on pressure plate forks, can hear the forks hit the disc when lever is pulled all the way up.
Install cable, adjust, pedal just floor drops. Pulls lever up, doesn't allow it to release back down. Same thing with cable disconnected from transmission. Pedal goes down, doesn't come back up.
Think its the cable binding somewhere? Or do I need to pull my tranny back off?
Side note: The cable doesn't really have much play in it. If I manually move it up and down, it only has about an inch of play, maybe.

You can adjust the cable. Its a like plastic screw almost. It at the top of the tranny on the cable. Just twist it untill it is tight and u have a little bit of free play in the pedal.
