I have a 2001 prelude sh. I need a new ecu because my car was flooded and the ecu burnt up. The ecu that was in my car was part number is 37820-P5P-L05. I have been able to find several ecu's with part number 37820-P5P-L04. Does anyone know FOR SURE if that one will work with my car?..i have gotten mixed answers...I dont want to buy it and try it out because i will have to get it programmed for the transponder and if it doesnt work than i waste money on getting it programmed. thanks .

 

Any P5P ecu L03-L05 should work fine. My 98 SH came with a L03 and the replacement L05 worked fine with no problems.

L02 was used in 97 but Honda added/changed some emissions stuff after 97, so those may give cel.
