GSR Ticking after instaling ITR replica cam
Recently i bought a brand new 00 spec ITR intake cam(same as CTR cam) localy and when i had it installed i had to put the dizzy all the way back to get the timing right... so i figured it was Chinese knock off... and my engine started ticking realy loud even tho i had the valve adjustment done when i instaled the cam... and tht day i had my friend over so he cud tune it... so we drove it out to do the street tune and first pull we did(pulled realy strong) it started tickin louder, then we did it again and it double thicking... and did it once more and it started triple thicking... so we said screw it and drove it bak
wat cud it be? lma's? valve hitting the piston?
its a 01 gsr with stock exhaust cam, gsr dual valve springs on exhaust installed and i have skunk2 mani and 4-1 headers, i just rebuild my motor 500 miles ago

check the lash again now that you've driven it. could be on the loose side. also, post this in the all motor forum. the engine education level is higher there than in here.
