does anyone have a hatch with a ful interior and a roll cage or something similar to it, just trying to get some ideas of what to look for.

you dont want a full interior with a cage. I tried it twice in 2 EK's, one bolt in cage, one weld in. Withthe bolt in cage, everything rattles. with the weld in cage, its a new world. It is a pain in the ***. It is very tedious and costly as well. everything was custom. I wanted to wrap and re-cover my whole cage after getting it welded in. got quoted at $5,000 for it, just upholstering everything and making some new panels. cage was $4000. Pick one or the other.

Its easier to clip the harness down to the floor.

 

mugen makes a made to order one for the ek9. i bet it doesnt rattle.

 

I dont want to cut my Takata harness and I think it look cooler that way I have set up and yes its eseir to clip them to the eyebolts.

 

It was a ebay bar there now I hava a EM Racing quick release bar

Run them OVER the cross bar and clip them into the same eyelet bolts. You don't have to cut anything.

You don't have to cut it. Just use the proper hardware and wrap it. That rear strut bar is really unnecessary since you have weld bar across.
