what are the advantages of running i-vtec on the s2000 motor?

Looks like an awesome system if it becomes readily availlable and affordable.

 

variable intake cam timing...they made like 100whp and 130 ft/lb at like 4000rpm with the conversion...but it looks like a ton of work, gotta swap cams and do alot of other work for it to fit and everything...i guess if you have the money if would be worth it...

those numbers were with boost and as afar as I know they havent had results with an NA motor yet. this is the thread where it all began if you want to read.

After this thread was started they began doing articles about it and they are trying to make it a kit for FI and NA applications if Im not mistaken.

Edit* saw where the OP put the s2ki thread as well but Im leaving it here again since people seem to scroll to the bottom without reading kinda like i did since i forgot it was there

 

This is exactly what I thought. I was reading through the original thread on s2ki, but there doesn't seem to be any updates for the NA dyno numbers that were promised for December by D-Craft. I hope they chime in soon. Really interested in seeing how this does for an NA motor.

Yeah, things will start kicking off really good this year for s2000 owners once people start purchasing this bolt on kit. In effect, word will get around and this will probably be something most owners will do if they've got the funds and are considering significant mid range torque in both NA and FI motors.
